Why are my shortcuts in MS Office applications "sometimes" missing? I am working with Adobe 6.0 Professional on Windows XP and am constantly needing to convert my work docs to pdf. The PDFMaker icon (Convert To Adobe PDF) and the Acrobat menu are missing form a MS Office application. The unusual part is that sometimes its there, and sometimes its NOT. Why does this keep happening? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program, that did'nt work. I tried several solutions provided from the Support Knowledgebase; 1) Remove Adobe PDF from the Disabled Items list in the MS Office application (it wasn't listed as disabled 2) Made sure PDF Maker components were installed. 3)Rename the normal.dot file (tried this and the file didn't exist on my computer.) 4) Change the security level of macros in the office application (Adobe Systems was listed so no changes were required) None of these solutions have worked. HELP! This is driving me crazy!
