In the ADOBE ACROBAT HELP exists a topic that explains how I can print a PDF document from the command line in UNIX/LINUX. That it says the folowing: For example, to print the file sample.pdf to the default printer, type the following: cat sample.pdf | acroread -toPostScript | lp I use this command, indicating the destination printer in the "lpr" instruction, but the document has not printing. cat <PDF FILE> | acroread -toPostScript | lpr -P<PRINTER NAME> What it is made a mistake? I have a Lexmark printer.

Works on my Linux box. Try this: cat <PDF FILE> | acroread -toPostScript > /tmp/test.ps Use vi to examine /tmp/test.ps - should be a valid PostScript file. If so, lpr the file to your printer. Assuming you have GhostScript (or another PostScript interpreter) installed, it should print. BTW, recent versions of GhostScript don't require this extra processing - they will accept PDF files directly for printing.
