Keep getting prompted that Reader is not installed when it is!

I have version 7.0.8 installed on my notebook. Whenever i encounter an email attached pdf file and try to open it, i get a prompt telling me that Reader is not installed and asking if I would like to install it. Any suggestions as to how to solve this?

I use Incredimail. However, I've noticed the same message appearing occassionally when I use IE.

It's an odd message because neither IE nor Adobe Reader will issue it. So there may be some extra software involved. Or it is possible that the mail is in the form of a web page which does some (wrong) checks. One thing to try is to e-mail a PDF file to yourself. If that works, there is something odd about other people's web pages. If it still doesn't work, it may be worth contacting the makers of Incredimail. Aandi Inston
