Hi all, have a question about the usage of the ActiveX Browser Control of Adobe Reader (AcroPDF.dll). May it be used for free in my commercial software to display PDF documents withing my tool? I read the Acrobat delevoper FAQ and a was a little bit confused: Page 16: "...Use of Active X control ... installed by Adobe Reader is not licensed to other applications." Sounds clear. But then on page 24: "If you are using simplified browser controls in your application..." Why use it, if it is not allowed? Who can clear this up? Thanks in advance! Ralf.

Interesting conflict. I am not a lawyer and don't speak for Adobe but it looks to me as if this text was not updated to reflect the new, supported, control in Acrobat/Reader 7. Aandi Inston
