PDF Forms retaining information when hosted on SharePoint

We are hosting pdf form files for internal access by our employees on Share Point. Whenever a form file is "filled in" (Acrobat Reader v 7.x) the employee supplied information is retained. That is to say information supplied is retrieved when the same form file is retrieved. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

turn off the prefernce to keep form data temporarily available on disk
