Has any one heard of the below bug I was sent this email saying about it and to stop adode updater from running

"Adobe Updater has a bug which causes the users systems to continuously download updates. At one site, the system managed to download 50Gb in one day"

Adobe updater comes with almost all Adobe Products and runs on millions of computers. I've never heard of any such bug.

Mikashif,

While I don't recall the issue with CS 4's updater, there were a few 
people that had the problem with CS 3's updater.
