I need to remove all versions of Adobe Reader. Adobe 8.0 remains and is not listed on "add delete programs" but has its own folder on the computer. Please help if you know how to get rid of Adobe Reader 8.0. Thanks, Ginger Taylor

Reinstall Adobe Reader 8, then uninstall it from Add/Remove Programs. If you cannot reinstall it, remove the installer remains with the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility, then try the install again. Uninstalling it then should remove all traces from Adobe Reader.

Tried that. The Cleanup Utility could not find it after removing with Add/Remove even though files still remained in a folder marked Reader 8. Finally, after removing with Add/Remove (when it was listed), and when it was not listed anymore but still remained in a folder on the drive, I simply deleted the folder/files from the drive upon suggestion from a third party software company, whose program would not work until I got rid of all Adobe Reader programs and installed only version 9. Now, everything works fine. I was reluctant to simply delete the folder, but tried everything else. Thanks to those who tried to help. Ginger Taylor
