I've recently upgraded to Adobe Reader 9 & have Win XP op sys. There is no longer an "Adobe PDF" as a printer option when wanting to print/save MS Office files to pdf format. Is there another way?

It sounds like you "upgraded" from Acrobat to Reader. Reader doesn't give you a PDF printer or any other options for creating PDF's.

Seems I found an answer at <http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/marketplace/EM102566201033.aspx> This allows the installation of doPDF (free shareware) which gave me back a printer for converting to pdf. Is there another option?

There are quite a few options. First of course would be to purchase Acrobat (It's their site, got to give 'em a plug). But there are some other free options out there that get recommended from time to time. <http://www.primopdf.com/> <http://www.cutepdf.com/> and <http://www.pdf995.com/> to name a few.
