Hello-my father in law is in need of a more recent version of Adobe Reader. He is not on the internet, so I was hoping someone could help me figure out how to download to a cd so he could install it on his computer. He has an old version that came with his computer, but it will not open current documents that he would like to have access to on his computer. Is there a way to download to a cd instead of my own computer? Thank you in advance!

You can start by going to the ftp site and navigating the the version you would like.

The ftp site for Windows is at ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/

I could point yo to the download file if you tell me the version you are looking for.

Thank You so much. Let's try version 8.1 since it was the version that worked well for me. Can you get me through it. I tried your link but have not been able to get it to download yet. Thank You again. K

Assuming that you want the English version for Windows, download it directly from <http://download.adobe.com//pub/adobe/reader/win/8.x/8.1.3/enu/AdbeRdr813_en_US.exe>
