I am working for an office in which I am charged with emailing the owner PDF documents that contain daily reports. I need to know if there is a way that I can set adobe so that when he open the attachment it opens at a certain level of zoom. For example... 59 % zoom makes it so that these docs are viewable one entire page at a time. So basically I need to be able to save a setting on my computer and when the file is opened on a different computer it automatically opens to the size I was viewing it in. Can anybody help me? Is this possible?

Open the PDF in Acrobat, go to File>properties>Initial View>Layout and Magnification. Instead of setting it for a certain percentage (the physical size could be different from one machine to another depending on the user preferences for screen resolution), set magnification for "fit page".

Is this setting available in Reader or Acrobat only?

You need to open it in Acrobat since you can't save any changes to the file in Reader.

Does Acrobat allow for you to add pages to a document that weren't originally scanned in? For example...if I am scanning documents for December 26 and then three days down the line I recieve a fax that is also from the 26th will I be able to scan that document and attach it to the pages I have already scanned and add them to the same pdf or will I still be required to rescan each page?

You can scan them separately and then add them to the PDF wherever you want. It's very simple.
