HELP! I download PDFs from a site some that are larger(20 MEG) work OK others that are smaller(5 MEG) according to the dialog box which pops up in both Acrobat reader 7 and 9 the files I am trying to open are damaged or corrupt. This I cannot understand. I use the same modem the same browser (either Opera or Internet Explorer) the same web site and get these results. VERY FRUSTRATING! Can you help?

The size of a file may make it more likely to become corrupt in transfer (either to you or to the website it is posted on), but the likelihood of corruption is probably more dependent upon the method of transmission as well as the transmission medium than the size of the file. Mike
