Do I remove Acrobat Reader 6.0 after installing 7.1.0

I just installed 7.1.0 on MacOSX10.3.9. Do I uninstall 6.0? If so, how? Also, I noticed it was place in my finder window right below my hard drive . My 6.0 is in the application folder. Can I move my 7.10 to my application folder? Also, can I remove it from my desktop.

I believe that version 6 could be just tossed in the trash. No uninstalling necessary. Mike
