When I open a PDF file, it stays open about 5 seconds and then closes automatically. Never had this problem before. Any suggestions to fix the problem? Thanks, Don

The PDF file closes, or Adobe Reader closes? If the Reader closes, you may find some additional information in the Event Viewer (Applications) at the time when the close occurred.

I had the same problem. In my case it helped to run the last option in the Help Menu (Erkennen und Reparieren). An after this I toggled the option Show PDF in Browser twice and it worked again. Before this I used Opera as a work around. I use: Windows XP Professional, Tablet PC Edition IE 6, Opera 9.10 adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional
