Update adobe reader 8.0 to 9.0

I'm not able to update adobe reader 8.0 to 9.0 version. During the installation program doesen't find AdbeRdr812_it_IT.msi. Os is Windows vista 32bit home premium . Pls someone can suggest me what I can do to resolve this kind of problem? Tks in advance.

Hi, I am not sure, but I am using "Uninstall" and "Install" again.

If you cannot uninstall Adobe Reader explicitly (or implicitly), use the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility to remove all current installations of Adobe Reader, then try the install again. * Download from <http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301> * Install the downloaded package * Run it from Start -> Programs -> Windows Install Clean Up * Select 'Adobe Reader', then click on Remove

Hi, I want to know whether i need to uninstall adobe reader 8.1.3 before i install adobe reader 9. can the two version coexist? seems adobe didn't want us to uninstall version 8.1.3 before we download and install version 9: <http://www.adobe.com/products/reader/8to9/> Anybody help? whether we need to uninstall adobe reader 8.1.3 before i install adobe reader 9.' Actually, that's not what that link says. They want you to close Reader 8.x before installing 9. Primarily so that 9 can uninstall 8.x.
can the two version coexist?
It's not recommended to have both no.

I never had any problems with Adobe Reader 9. However if you decide to upgrade to 9, make sure that you download the latest version 9.1 P.S. on some older computers with less power, I keep Adobe Reader 8.1.3
