I've been able to use scripts to place InCopy snippets (ICML), but I'm
still trying to find ways to place PageItem and XML snippets (IDMS)
into XML elements. The place() function doesn't seem to do anything
at all in most cases:
myElement.xmlContent.place(File(snippet));
does not work. (Neither, by the way, does the more obvious:
myElement.setContent(File(snippet));
Any clues?
Thanks,
-pd
