Hello, me again. I am still having issues with this whole FillColor malarky. I have tried converting the data to string, long, double, integer, single and variant but none of these have worked, same error as before. I have since tried creating a paragraph stylesheet using the colour, but the same thing happened all over again. Is there another way I can change the colour of the text without using FillColor and use a string option so basically I can tell it use the colour by name? Please help. Graeme
