Jay, Definately fastest way to work is to clean up text in BBEdit before placing it to InDesign. Since you have learned to write AppleSripts you can as easily learn GREP. Also, if you are preparing tagged text to be placed into InDesign, BBedit is must have. It has handy Glossary (to which you can assign your own shortcuts) which you can use to assigning tags into text. And hey! - BBedit is fully AppleScriptable program: you can even record scripts. In my daily work InDesign and BBEdit goes hand in hand like best pals. Kari
