Tony-- Sure--like all other text objects, the InsertionPoint has a Baseline property. That returns the position of the baseline of the insertion point in current measurement units, measured from the current zero point location. To get the top of the InsertionPoint, get the Baseline value, then subtract the InsertionPoint.Ascent value to it; to get the bottom of the InsertionPoint, add the value of InsertionPoint.Descent to the Baseline value. Thanks, Ole
