I'm posting this here as I have a feeling it will be dealt with faster than going through Adobe support and this problem is on current (deadline) work. 

I'm getting a repeatable runtime error from a script that automates the production of a book. It simply looks up a list of numbered files and places them in automatically created frames in automatically created pages. 

The book should consist of about 500 ASCII text files, and 240 eps files. Frames are also created for numbering and headings. 

The script runs perfectly until it gets to page 56 when it tries to place the 273rd text file (33 eps files have also been successfully placed). This file is no different from the previous 272 --- bog standard ASCII, not even ID tagged text, when the following error occurs: 

"VB runtime error '29441' 

Cannot place this file. No filter found for requested operation." 

This feels like a stack problem, or running up against some kind of internal limitation that I haven't been told about. 

Any ideas, anyone?
