Ooops. I mean "myCounter"

-- I know this part fixes a bug which chokes if nothing is found

-- this is where I get confused 
�			repeat with myCounter from (count myFoundItems) to 1 by -1  
					set myFoundItem to item myCounter of myFoundItems

I know it works so I shouldn't complain, but I'd like to know what it's doing. I see the gears turning, but I can't tell how they mesh.
