I discovered an interesting gotcha with using REALbasic to run AppleScripts. If the AppleScript is long, control seems to be returned the ID UI a lot sooner than when the same AppleScript is run from the OSA menu or Script Palette. For instance, Shane's Save with versions script. When run from OSA or Script Palette, it runs to completion before any keystroke you might type takes effect. But when run from a REALbasic button, if you hit Command-W while the version is being saved, the file will close without the save as under the original name ever happening. Dave
