Help!!! I'm lost in a sea of < and > and := and >>. 

Is there a document where I can learn about the proper way to create Tagged Text file with hyperlinks. I've tried creating hyperlinks in InDesign and exporting Tagged Text, but most of the time, the tags do not include Hyperlink Destinations. 

I've been trying to create Hyperlink Destination codes that are part of the text flow. But tonight, as near as I can tell, one of the required codes is <HyperlinkDestIndex:x> where x is the position of the hyperlink (like InsertionPoints in scripting). I can't imagine trying to count the InsertionPoints in a large document. 

Is there anyone/anywhere to whom I can turn for help. I enjoy tagged text, but I keep feeling like calculus was easier!
