I'm trying to automate the formatting of some sample phone-book pages. The ideal phone book entry is only one line long: Bold Name<\b> 123 Street Address (flush-right tab)555-1212<\b> But often the address goes to 2 lines, and I have to manually add a soft-return to make a nice-looking break. Ideally the break would happen just after the Bold Name, but if that makes the entry 3 lines I need to put it somewhere else. I know I can automate this somehow using applescript, but I'm having a hard time starting. I've been studying the BoxCharacters script, but I'm not making enough sense out of it to make my own script. Help? Where is the best place to get some more knowledge of scripting? Thanks! Jay
