I don't have any that use "raw" AppleEvents, as I found that the prospective speed increase (as "guesstimated" by a few RealBasic geeks I know), if any, would be more than offset by the utter freakin' nightmare of dealing with the things.  

When you use AppleScript, you can work on your script in ScriptDebugger, make sure it's working the way you want it to, and then roll it into a script for inclusion in a RealBasic project. There's no real way to debug AppleEvents, and there's no real way to convert from an AppleScript to a RealBasic-aware stream of AppleEvents. 

So give it up, already.<g> If you're having performance troubles, it might be that there are tricks some of us may have picked up. What's slow for you? 

(I do have quite a few RealBasic examples, should you want some, but none of them use AppleEvents.)
