Ole,

I was reading Mike's other comments in the ID forum.

I have been wrestling with a similar challenge. Our design template for our technical manuals uses subject headings in a column to the left of the body text. We have had to place headings in separate text frames and haven't found a way of placing them "inline" with the body text and forcing them to "jump out to the left".

You're right about the baseline shift beeing too kooky to be effective here. We tried that and found out that you could place the cursor on one line of type and have the text come out somewhere else (12-48 points above). Very freaky!

You mentioned Tables. How might I use tables to acomplish this? But more importantly: How will this be less trouble than using a separate text frame?

I've got VB6 for scripting on Windows 2000 machine.

Ben
