In InDesign 1.5x, you can also print device independent PostScript to disk by exporting as a "Prepress file". I've used this to create PS for distilling by the Distiller with good results. Here's how to do it: 

tell application "InDesign 1.5.2" 	set user interaction level to never interact 	set myDocument to active document 	tell myDocument to export format "Prepress File" to "washu-chan:myPrepressFile.sep" 	set user interaction level to interact with all end tell  

Peter has probably forgotten about this, as it's been a long time since he's worked with InDesign 1.5x.<g>
