This seems to work : Dim myInD As InDesign.Application myInD = CreateObject("InDesign.Application.2.0") myInD.Documents.Add()
But when I do this : Dim myInD As InDesign.Application myInD = New InDesign.Application() myInD.Documents.Add() then I get the error : 'New' cannot be used on an interface. When I do the same thing with Illustrator 10, this works fine
Intellisense only works one level of addressing : e.g. myInD. shows the correct intellisens list, but myInD.Documents. only shows 'GetType' in the intellisens list (the same is true for all other Indesign classes)
