Hi Is it possible to resize an existing page in InDesign through AppleScript (or JavaScript)? I cannot see anything in the dictionary. page bounds are read only. I don't really want to create a new document and copy all the elements or to have to try and use GUI scripting. I am using CS3 for testing but the final script will run on CS4. Thanks Hugh

Page bounds are like reading the rulers on the spreads in the user interface. You don't change the page size using the rulers. Rather, you have to go to Document Setup and change the width and height. Hence: myDoc.documentPreferences.pageHeight = Your value here myDoc.documentPreferences.pageWidth = Your other value here Dave

I would add that Dave's solution does not change a page size -- it changes the page size (for the Document). Changing single page sizes is not possible, for that you need a commercial plugin.

Thanks for this. All the documents are single page. It seems that Javascript works fine but Applescript equivalent doesn't. Hopefully it will be possible to call the jsx script with parameters from within Applescript Hugh
