Hi,

Does anyone know how to set the preference called Create Links when placing text and spreadsheet files, which is found under the Type section of the preferences panel?

Or more accurately, place a text file as a link via applescript.

I would expect this is an application preference but I can't see it anywhere in the dictionary.
