Hi,

I have setup a data merge. I have my ID (CS3) template and can scroll through data records in the data merge palette. I want to generate a PDF file for each data record. Currently I am manually doing an export to pdf on each record.

Is there a way I can automate/script this so it scrolls through all the data records automatically generating/exporting a PDF for each record?

I guess you can generate the merged document and then used a PDF export function to have one single PDF per page.
I don't know data merge scripting so can't help in automating much more this stuff but I know there is a lot pf PDF export functions that you can find all around in this forum and in the scripting documentation.
