Hi all
Actually my requirement is I've to hide some selected texts in "indesign 5.0". So I just used notes. It works well. But in hidden places a marking remains. So I tried as below
app.select(app.activeDocument.pages[0].textFrames[0].paragraphs[0]);
app.menuActions.item("$ID/Notes Mode").invoke();
app.menuActions.item("$ID/Hide Notes").invoke();
It worked for sometime. But now I get "Object is invalid".
Plz help on this issue. thanks in advance

You should avoid menuActions. Why do you not use: app.selection[0].convertToNote(); app.activeDocument.viewPreferences.showNotes=false; (And by the way. To me this does not seem to be the kind of problem that requires lots of exclamation marks... :-)) Ralf

I don't know about everyone else, but I am likely to be slower to read/respond to messages with exclamation points, all caps, or marked urgent. There's no need to shout. People will get to the messages when they have time to do so. Thanks, Ole
