InsertionPoints problem

I am trying to get Paragraph coordinates from InDesign document using Insertion points.

InDesign.InsertionPoint indParaStart = (InDesign.InsertionPoint)indPara.InsertionPoints.FirstItem(); is inserting exactly paragraph starting position, but I don't know why the InDesign.InsertionPoint indParaEnd = (InDesign.InsertionPoint)indPara.InsertionPoints.LastItem(); is inserting InsertionPoint to at the next paragraph or line starting position.

Is there any way to avoid inserting unwanted position?Also let me know any other way to get Paragraph starting and ending "EndBasline" co-ordinates?

Regards,
Kumar

Hello Kumar,

the return (\r) is part of a paragraph.
So the last insertion point of a paragraph is located after the return - at the beginning of the next paragraph.

Use the insertion point before the last one instead.
In JS:

var myInsPoint = myPara.insertionPoints.item(-2);
