Khye is correct. But if you want to set something like the Signatures tab, which is not available as a document preference, as the default on Open of the document then set the JavaScript app.execMenuItem("ShowHideSignatures"); action as either an 'Open' action to the first page of the document or make it a Docment Level script. The latter Document Level script is the preferable method though since you may actually want to use a tab other than the one specified in an 'Open' page action
