Is there a field or javascript that I can use to automatically have the user info and date displayed when someone prints out a electronically controlled .pdf document? If the answer is not in Acrobat 6.0, how about a document created in a FrameMaker 6.0 that is converted to a .pdf?

Do you want that information displayed on the printout? or just an onscreen prompt that displays them. Also, what do you mean by user info?

I want the information printed out as text when someone prints out a controlled document. Something like, "(User Info) takes the responsibility for control and use of this procedure for assembly, test and inspection." What I mean by user info is the ID of the user logged into the machine or into Acrobat. Basically the AUTHOR ID that appears when you want to add comments to a Note or Stamp or sort comments by AUTHOR within Acrobat. Thanks for your help.
