For those of you who didn't see it, Thomas Phinney has announced he is leaving Adobe. See the last paragraph of this blog <http://blogs.adobe.com/typblography/2008/12/tlf_rasterization.html>

We're going to miss you, Thomas ... here's hoping you hang around this forum.

Thank you for everything, Thomas, and good luck.

It seems impossible to add comments to the blog, at least for now.

Thomas,

Got to say I'm/we're going to miss you around here -- we certainly learned a lot from your vast knowledge and insight. All best wishes for whatever you do next!

Still, feel free to surprise us by stopping by from time to time.

Neil

Thomas,

Good luck in whatever you choose to do. You've always been a gentleman
and a scholar and in these parts that is a rare combination.

Jacob

You can leave a message to the blog, but it will be a day or two until Thomas can view the message and post it. He got my reply up a couple days after I posted it. (It is a moderated blog.)

Well, it isn't me moderating the replies any more, but yes, it is a moderated blog to avoid spam comments.

I'm still around, and will continue to visit these fora fairly regularly, at least for the time being.

Regards,

T
