> My name is Andy Vitale and I am a graphic design instructor at Keiser
College, a private accredited college, which offers an A.S. in Computer
Graphic Design. What I am trying to do is plan a seminar for past graduates
and current students. We have campuses throughout Florida but being that my
campus is located in West Palm Beach, I wanted to focus on the area between
Miami and Port St. Lucie. In a perfect world, this event would be full of
guest speakers in all facets of the industry and allow time for graduates to
show off their portfolio and get tips and opinions on how to improve upon
what they have. I have a "wish list" of companies and people I would like to
have speak to the students and even if those people/companies that wouod be
unable to attend could share things such as posters, magazines, items to
raffle off, etc., this even can be a huge success. I'm opening it up to
anyone who might be interested to attend as a guest speaker or anyone who
can provide or donate promotional materials - also if anyone knows of some
organizations/people who I should invite to speak at this event. We are
hoping for an October 2004 date.
