You dont need image ready really to create html with photoshop. Make sure you create your slices in a symmetrical fashion and that theyre pretty much perfect, no gaps or overlapping. Name each slice. Then Save For Web (this is where you can optimize each slice), and it will give you the option to save all your slices, plus html code. Takes a little tweaking from there in frontpage or dreamweaver... Go to http://www.rocket-net.com for a mini tutorial using photoshop and dreamweaver to create web pages...
