Reasons for using other browsers:

IE
- Requires third-party pop-up blocker
- Bland, uninteresting graphics
- Not as customizable as some other browsers

Netscape
- Cannot download/install browser alone, must also get messenger, mail, and composer (these are not very good programs, either)
- VERY slow to load
- Cluttered nav buttons/graphics

Safari
- Not a bad browser, best of these three options
- Needs a few more options, but overall very good

I believe that just because the majority uses IE, doesn't mean people (like us) who spend large amounts of time online need to settle for a mediocre browser. It's like having access to a free Porsche (Firefox/Camino), but still taking the old Honda (IE/Netscape) wherever you go. These sleek, refined browsers are for those of us who want to browse the 'net on our own terms, not those according to Microsoft or Netscape. We may have to design sites for IE/Netscape, but we don't have to use them! :)
