In Word, click on "Acrobat" at the top next to help, Change Conversion Settings>Office and check Convert Internet links. This assumes you have full Acrobat and that it was installed after MS Office. If you have full Acrobat and don't have its features in Word, it was installed before MS Office or installed wrong and you will have to uninstall and reinstall Acrobat.
