NP energy is a company that may well be on its way to becoming a major
player in providing raw materials to the USA. They have have holdings in
Gold, Copper, Silver, Oil, Natural gas, and a Telecommunication company.
NP energy and it's partner Last Frontier Oil, of which NP own 47% of, are
currently working hard on a project in Chile. The Chile properties are a
Copper mine that is currently producing copper and a gold mine that will be
starting to mine before years end. The following is a summery based on
values in what I feel is NP's worth. After you read this, keep in mind
that NP energy closed today at $.23 ask Bid $.22. If you have any
questions call Dave DiRieco 415-367-5071 or you can e-mail me at
acksix@mail.coos.or.us.

1) Chile Copper/Silver/Gold (Mina Claudia). Estimated tonnage greater
than 50 million metric tones". Most assays (from grab, bulk and
reverse circulation drilling) returning >2% copper.

x 2204.00 ton to LB conversion
x $ 0.15 value / lb

                NPEC (20%) LFNO (60%) NPEC+%LFNO (47%)
Valuation: $ 66,120,000.00 $ 198,360,000.00 $ 155,382,000.00

2)Chile Gold (Andacolla) Current proven and probable reserves are > 6

                NPEC (20%) LFNO (80%) NPEC+%LFNO (56%)
Valuation: $ 1,935,483.87 $ 7,741,935.48 $ 5,419,354.84

3)Ecuador oil- 15% stake. Producing, current estimates around $500,000
profit per month, last released figure is from July for $232,000
profit. Some of this has to go to paying off acquisition and future
development costs. NP also may have an option to get another 15% of the
oil field if work continues as planed. Although we have not seen this years
earnings we will base are fig. at what we have been told and seen for July.
This would make a low annual profits at approximately $3,000,000.

4)Indonesia Gold- 20% stake. Partners are X-Chequer Resources
(XCR-Montreal) and Consolidated Dencam (CMO-Van.) Still an early
exploration property. NPEC's working 20% interest results from a finder's
fee
and involves no cost for exploration and development up to the first
$500,000 spent. After that NPEC will share 20% of expenses. This
property is located on the Island of
Kalimantan, between the producing properties of Mt. Muro and Kelian.
The partners recently approved a further exploration program on this
property to supplement our recent geological surveys. The latest news
from this area reports assays of $50,000,000+ in gold. With more
exploration, using geochemical and geophysical sampling, showing very
promising result from P.T. Simapertamas' chief geologist, some fell this
area could be worth much more.

5)CISCO DOME GAS AND OIL FIELD, Utah- Operations provide 1% to 50%
income depending on the well, providing additional cash flow for NPEC
expansion.

6)NPEC Holds a 66 2/3 % interest in a Washington State Silver property
of over 2000 acres with production plans for '97. assay results have show
between .87 opt silver and 108.41 opt silver. The company planes to have
the first loads of silver being hauled from the area this summer.

Don't know what 4,5,6 add to the bottom line at this point, but they do
seem to have some value.

7)METROPLUS COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION- A Long Distance Supplier to
business and industry in lower B.C. CANADA. The network is
expanding with acquisitions completed in '96 and plans for more in
'97. This operation is profitable (about $100,000/yr) and provides
additional cash flow monthly to NPEC, which owns 100% of Metropolis.

Someone who knows the value for 4,5,6 please add. Other wise let's take
what we have and assume they can be mined at 10% per year. If that number
accurate, here's potential annual profit. (I'm assuming that the $0.15/lb
for copper and $50/oz
for gold is profit. If it's not, can someone let me know the
approximate net profit for copper/gold and I'll adjust calculations.)
I'm also assuming the profit mentioned from the oil is NPEC share, not the
entire field.

Annual Profit Potential

Estimated Stock Price (10 x earnings multiplier).

          NPEC LFNO NPEC+%LFNO

For now that is all that I can come up with. If anyone has anything to add
to this feel free to do so.
Questions:

1) Are the dollar values used for copper and golf profit or revenue?
2) Is the 10% mining capacity a year accurate?
3) Is the 10x multiplier reasonable for mining companies?
