Just discussed this problem at a meeting of the NNHLUG.  Yu didn't mention
where you placed LILO.  When using two HDs you will need a linux boot partion
at he beginning of the primary drive.  I would sugegest using Partion Magic or
a similar utility to do this.  Hope that helps.
