I'm a windows user (currently using Windows Me). I'm trying to install Red Hat Linux 6.2 but there's a BIG problem. I've one harddisk (IBM 20.1Gb). I've put it into 4 equal partition with 5Gb each. Once I put in the Linux CD-Rom and try to install it. An error message pop out every time, which say : "...device hda is not partition porperly... no such file or directory." I've try to re-partition to almost any combination ( 5x4Gb, 2x10Gb, etc) The only case work (to go through the problem) is when there's no partition at all, which I mean only one primary drive with 20Gb. But I can't just purly switch to Linux, I still need Windows for others jobs to be done. Please HELP. Nick nicomail@optusnet.com.au
