I read about this somewhere,where someone tried to install linux ,and
created new partitioms using a linux tool,and when somthing got botched ,the
drive was un readable to windows tools.
sorry ,I don't remember any real specifics but I think the solution was to
reinstall linux and use it to fix the partitioning (I think LILO was
mentioned).
on the other hand, PowerQuest s, Partition Magic 5.0 seems to me to be a
godlike application and if it didn't make the fix simple & obvious, I'm
certain their tech support could.(even if it was only to tell you to
reinstall linux & fix it there)
