Hi Guys. It's my first time on this newsgroup so I hope you can help me. I found a copy of Caldera OpenLinux 1.3 at home on the front of a mag. I really want to check it out as Windows sucs. I have a P120 but unfortunatly it doesn't have a CD rom drive!!! Fortunatly though I do have accsess to a networked CD rom drive on one of my other computers. The only problem is I can't get acsess to the remote drive through Dos when I first re-boot my computer, arse. I was wondering if it would be possible to copy all the installation files from the CD in Windows onto the local HDD, then partition it, reboot and install. Would this work?? I managed to do it for windows. Please help as I want Linux!!!! Regards Tom Mecrow
