OK, sort of solved ... I found a RPM from REDHAT's download site that
was TCL8.0.5 that included the itcl & the Iwidget files - they
installed w/ kpackage - but I still had to gunzip | tar the files.....
now the IWidget3.0 files are in
/usr/local/lib
but running Comanche spits back it can't find the Iwidget3.0 package --
by the way neither itcl or the widget files show up in kpackage.

Did I do something wrong or just plain not DO something yet.?
