I have hosed the installation a couple of times over. 1st install went like this: partition magic went ok, up to the choosing a partintion size. At that point I got the 1024 cylinders your sys may not boot etc message. And of course this is what happened. Sop I deleted the partition, but guess what, the partitiion is still there, hidden. fdisk/status shows the full 16 gig hd as the physical drive, but only 13 gig is alllotted to the c drive, which was 16 prior to installation. How can get the linux partitions off my hd, so I can start over. And then, how do I manage to get the partition below 1024 cylinders? I tried reducing the size to 1 gig and still got the message. Windows 98 is the os on the hd. george --
