First check so that your kernel supports fat32. In /mnt create a dir called fat or something. Then you just tell the kernel on what partition and wich harddrive the fat32 partition resides on. For exsample my fat32 partition is the first partition on my first harddrive wich is the same as /dev/hda1. This is the syntax for mounting my fat32 drive. "mount -t vfat /dev/hda1 /mnt/fat". All you have to do now is to use "mount /mnt/fat" and "umount /mnt/fat" to mount and dissmount. I hope things are a littlebit clearer for you now. Best regards /DoA p_lindahl_@hotmail.com
