My init 5 settings are set to boot up X11. All was fine till I tried to tweak my monitor a bit. Having made a backup of XF86Config and whatnot I changed the H and V rates now it just flashes at me and I can't even login... No problem, right? Far from it.. for some reason LILO wont let me init my runnlevel 3 (eg: LILO>linux 3 OR LILO>linux single) Like wise alt-F1 does nothing nor ctrl-alt-backspace. If somebody out there could give me a tip of some sort I would owe them my first born (hows that for giving back??) Semi-newbieish-user-but-loving-every-minute-of-linux, Sean
