i am very new a linex (just instaled today)and realy know nothing
about it .
so if this is a dumb question please forgive
and if wrong groop to post such questions let me know
i have a cable modem that uses a ethernet card
its a 3com 3c900b and linex acts like its not even there
do i have to find a driver  or is there somthing i have to do in the
linux program
and if i nead a driver is installing it as ezy as windows(download
to a file and then click on it and it installes)
ps is there a file system like windows explorer on linex
os is linex mandrake7.0
keep in mind i am very new and do not understand a lot of the teck
vocab
sorry i still have a spoon feed windows state of mind that i am tring
to change
