Hello,
just setup this bonsai and it seems to work good. Now I am starting to
refine it and start over with firewall option(matherhorn?), but two main
problems remains unsolved.
1) When I telnet the router from the internal network it starts the dial
up connection, and once connected it starts responding me with the
prompt. I would like him not to feed my phone company every time I need
to look at its configuration. Would be a nice idea to keep the ability
to telnet from an internal machine to a internet server, if possible.
Actually I don't need to provide a telnet access to my internal network
from the internet.
2) Since I am implementing a dial on demand I would like understand why
it keeps the connection more than idle parameter should say. I tried to
keep the router not connected to the network and it keeps the connection
alive for at least 3 minutes more than configured(idle 30 for example).
This scares me a little.
TIA,
Giuseppe
Marullo
